Chiara attended Bocconi University Bocconi University is located in Milan and she studied law. She started to study and together with her boyfriend opened a small online blog The Blonde Salad in 2009. Initially, it was a fashion drape but because it was very famous it began to be more popular. By 2011, Teen Vogue described her as the Blogger of the Moment and by 20112012 she was sitting in the front row at major fashion shows.
Business Growing
In 2013, Chiara launched her own shoe line, “Chiara Ferragni Collection,” in partnership with a friend. She also worked with famous brands like Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Chanel. Her blog became a real business. She made more than 8 million USD from her shoe brand in 2014.
Over time, The Blonde Salad turned into an agency called TBS Crew, which helps brands and manages talent.
Media and Public Life
Chiara has been featured in magazines and newspapers around the world. She was in Forbes 30 Under 30 and named one of the top fashion influencers. Harvard Business School even studied her blog as a case study.
In 2019, a movie about her life called Chiara Ferragni – Unposted came out in theatres and did very well. In 2021, she joined the board of the famous shoe and bag maker Tod’s. She also starred in a TV series called The Ferragnez on Amazon Prime – a show about her life with her husband, famous rapper Fedez.
Family 
Chiara married rapper Fedez (real name Federico Lucia) in 2018. They have two children: a son, Leone (born March 2018), and a daughter, Vittoria. They also have a pet dog, Matilda, who is popular online.
Charity Work and Controversy
During the COVID‑19 pandemic in 2020, Chiara Ferragni and her husband raised 3 million euros in just 24 hours to help build a hospital ward in Milan. However, in 2022–2023, she faced a scandal called “Pandorogate.” She promoted a Christmas cake, saying sales would help sick children, but no money went to charity. The Italian authority fined her over one million euros and she faced fraud charges. This controversy led Italy to pass a new rule, known as the “Ferragni Law,” to keep social media influencer promotions honest.
In 2024–2025, she faced trial for fraud and permanently left the Tod’s board. Despite criticism, she has started to rebuild her image and brand.

Chiara Ferragni remains a top fashion and social media figure. She has nearly 30 million Instagram followers. She continues to engage in collaborations, design, business, and TV.
